“Neonatal mortality rates, which are being reduced in many parts of the world, are still comparatively high in Canada which ranks 13th in the world. “Dr. Woolfrey graduated from Dalhousie University and has a cottage hospital practice in Botwood,Nfld., serving a population of between 15,000-20,000. New Department of General Practice to be headed by Dr John Ross

Dr D. W. Ingram named Honorary Member of the College
“The Secretary-Treasurer of the College's Newfoundland Chapter Dr. D. E. Wyatt, made the announcement at a civic dinner held recently to honor the first graduating class of physicians from Memorial University. Dr. Wyatt also indicated that a fund, established by voluntary subscriptions from Chapter members, would provide a commemorative gift to the university.” Can Fam Physician 1973 Sep;19(9): 23
